Powdered & Pristine

Renovated bathroom with white subway tile, black trim, a black vanity with marble top and a herringbone marble floor

About the project

One of our earliest projects, this bathroom remains a standout for its attention to detail and appreciation for classical design. Rather than introduce a distinctly modern space into a 1940s red-brick traditional home, the goal was to create a bathroom that felt original to the house—honoring its history while thoughtfully refining it for modern living.

A classic bathroom finished in white subway tile with black trim and chair rail, a black vanity topped with marble, a chrome faucet, and herringbone marble flooring that continues up the tub wall panel. The original glass doorknob was kept as a detail, and the whole room replaces a dated peach tile finish and yellow checkered floor.
