Blake Hurst is an architectural designer with a passion for residential design and a hands-on understanding of construction. Growing up around his father’s flooring and design business, Blake was introduced to the building industry from an early age. That experience gave him an appreciation not only for how spaces are designed, but for how they are actually built.

Blake went on to study architecture at Drexel University, completing the university’s six-year Bachelor of Architecture program. His education strengthened his design and technical skills, while his hands-on experience gave him a practical perspective that allows him to bridge the gap between the drawing board and the job site.

Today, Blake combines both sides of his experience to create thoughtful, functional, and visually distinctive spaces. Whether developing a new design, refining the details of a renovation, or working through the realities of construction, he approaches each project with the goal of making good design feel both beautiful and buildable.

For Blake, architecture has always been about more than drawing buildings—it is about creating places that people genuinely enjoy living in.
